What's Happening This Week At Samuel Taylors BrighouseHello From Samuel Taylors at Brighouse, as always we hope you are all well and raring to hear our latest crafting news! Have You Seen This In Our Shop?  Christine, one of our very talented members of staff here at Brighouse, has made a beautiful sample for you to view using some of our lovely Memory Box dies. This beautiful display is coloured by painting with Tim Holtz Distress Inks (currently on offer in our shop 3 for £10, usual price £3.99 each, R.R.P £4.75) Some of the dies Chrissie used include; "Wild Sunflower" £8.90 "Prim Poppy" £8.50 and a particular favourite of mine, "Glorious Gerber Daisies" £12.25 This Saturday's "Make and Take" with Diane. 10.30am £5.00 and Bring A Friend For Free This Saturday's "Make and Take" has once again been designed by the fabulous Sue at our Roseville Street shop in Leeds and as always she has put together a great card for you to make and take. I'm not going to spoil the surprise for you by telling you what the project is but I'm happy to hint that we are using some great products as always. Saturday 21st June, "Amazing Images" with Yvonne Jennings, 10am - 12.30pm £12.50 We still have a few places left on this workshop so do give us a ring if you want to book your place 01484 401419.  Amaze your friends and family when you present them with this folding card where the images change with each turn of the folds. ideal for including photos as a forever keepsake, so if you have some you want to include bring them along. Yvonne will be using some of the newest stamps to arrive in store in this class and as usual she will be showing you how to colour to get the stunning results you want - an ideal opportunity to perfect your papercrafting techniques. New Wedding Themed Paper's Have Arrived In Store  We have just unpacked a delivery of some lovely 12"x12" papers by Simple Stories "The Story of Us" range. Ideal for scrapbooking and other projects these double sided romantic wedding themed papers are perfect as background papers so the Bride and Groom's pictures can take centre stage to your display. Card-Wreck Competition

Have you had a card not turn out the way you planned? Of course you have it happens to the best of us!

Well it’s time to put those disaster cards to good use, here at Samuel Taylors we are having a Card-Wreck Competition. We want you to send us a photo of your cards gone wrong and if you are the lucky person who sends us the worst/funniest you can win a £5 gift voucher!
Your cards don’t need to be finished they just need to be genuine disasters (no making bad cards on purpose)

So if you would like to enter please email your photo to kirsty@samueltaylors.com with the subject line Card-Wreck, All entries need to be in by January 31^st and the winner will be notified by email.

The best cards will also go on Facebook so keep checking to see if your Card-Wreck made the cut.
